Trophic ecology and conservation of marine mammals
Trophic ecology and conservation of marine mammals
This research line addresses the population dynamics of cetaceans and whales through the study of their genetics and trophic ecology. The main objective is to contribute to the conservation and management of these species. Additionally, it explores their interactions with human activities and evaluates the ecosystem services they provide, with a particular focus on their role in the carbon cycle in coastal systems.
