Maritime history and archaeology
The objective of this research line is to analyze the relationship between past societies and the sea, along with everything broadly connected to maritime environments. This study is approached diachronically, covering from the origins of humanity to the present day.
The work perspective is interdisciplinary, addressing the diverse approaches provided by archaeometry. The type of approximation is polyhedral, ranging from documentary history to the analysis of archaeological evidence left by the human groups that preceded us, whether found in the sea, on the coast, or in other environments related to marine-maritime aspects.
