Maritime history and archeology

The objective of this line of research is to analyze the relationship of past societies with the sea and with everything related to maritime environments, in a broad sense; from a diachronic perspective, from the origin of Humanity to the present day. The working perspective is interdisciplinary, addressing the diverse approaches provided by archaeometry. And the type of approach is multifaceted, ranging from Documentary History to the analysis of archaeological evidence that the human groups who preceded us have left behind; in the sea, on the coast, or in other environments related to marine-maritime aspects.
