Carmen Garrido Pérez, nueva directora del INMAR

Carmen Garrido ha sido elegida nueva directora del INMAR desde hoy 9 de abril de 2024.

Carmen es Licenciada en Ciencias del Mar (1995, Universidad de Cádiz), Doctora en Ingeniería Química (2002, Universidad de Cádiz), Profesora Titular de Tecnologías del Medio Ambiente (2008, Universidad de Cádiz) y Catedrática de Tecnologías del Medio Ambiente (2022, Universidad de Cádiz). 

Sobre su actividad investigadora: ficotecnología ambiental y desarrollo de criterios de calidad ambiental en base a resultados ecotoxicológicos y químicos. En la actualidad, pertenece al grupo de investigación TEP-181 Tecnologías del Medio Ambiente del área de Tecnologías de la Producción de la Facultad de Ciencias del Mar y Ambientales de la Universidad de Cádiz. Además cuenta con amplia experiencia en otros puestos de gestión: coordinadora técnica del Campus de Excelencia Internacional del Mar, CEI·MAR (2010), directora en funciones del Instituto Universitario de Investigación Marina, INMAR (hasta diciembre 2022) y secretaria del INMAR hasta su actual cargo como Directora del Instituto y coordinadora general de CEI·MAR.
