Marine biodiversity analysis

INMAR offers a marine biodiversity analysis service, both for phytoplankton and marine invertebrate macro- and microfauna. Specifically, the following services are offered:

  • Phytoplankton analysis service. Using combined microscopy and cytometry. For more information: phytoplankton analysis.
  • Micro and macroinvertebrates analysis.
    • Taxonomic identification of benthic invertebrates (qualitative listing): identification with the highest possible taxonomic resolution.
    • Quantitative processing of benthic samples: includes triage, identification of benthic biological samples and quantification of organisms by taxon. An image analysis service is offered.
