Given the celebration of the X Scientific Symposium of Students of Marine and Environmental Sciences of the University of Cadiz, UCA Emprende is offering this oral communication workshop so that participants in SACMA can develop their communication skills. The workshop will be given by Carmen Varo, Professor of General Linguistics and Secretary of the Institute of Applied Linguistics (ILA) of the UCA, where she coordinates the Experimental Linguistics Unit. She is also a member of the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program in Linguistics of the UCA and of the Editorial Board of the journal Pragmalingüística (C2 FECYT). Her scientific production is in the fields of Lexicology, Terminology, Psycholinguistics, and Clinical Linguistics. She has taught numerous seminars and courses on communication in the business, administrative, and scientific fields for different stakeholders.
