El Festival Pint of Science es un evento de índole internacional que invita a los investigadores más punteros a compartir sus conocimientos en un ambiente relajado y distendido. Durante los 3 días en los que se desarrolla, los protagonistas y organizadores pretenden crear un formato accesible a todos los públicos, para ello, el escenario elegido es ¡LOS BARES DE TODO EL MUNDO!

Este año es la undécima edición de este festival gratuito en España, y se prevé más de un millar de eventos en 114 ciudades y pueblos de todo el territorio nacional, llenando de ciencia bares de todo el país los días 18, 19 y 20 de mayo. A través de charlas divulgativas, monólogos o experimentos de entre 20 y 30 minutos de duración, investigadoras e investigadores de todas las áreas del conocimiento compartirán su trabajo en un ambiente muy diferente al habitual.

Este año, en la provincia de Cádiz, Pint of Science se celebrará en dos localidades, en Cádiz capital y en Jerez de la Frontera. Con un total de 12 charlas científicas impartidas por investigadores de la Universidad de Cádiz, del INiBICA, el Instituto de Ciencias Marinas de Andalucía (ICMAN-CSIC), el IEO Cádiz (CSIC) y el IFAPA El Toruño (Junta de Andalucía). Se cubrirán temáticas: “Nuestro Cuerpo”, “Nuestra Sociedad”, “Planeta Tierra” y “De los Átomos a las Galaxias”.

Fecha y horario: 18, 19 y 20 de mayo de 2026, a partir de las 19:30 h

Lugar: Presencial.

Organizadores: equipo local Pint of Science Cádiz y Jerez (investigadores y técnicos del Instituto Universitario de Investigación Marina de la Universidad de Cádiz y del IEO Cádiz) y “Asociación de Divulgación Científica Pint of Science España”.
