II INMAR Summer Camp 2026 16 July 2026

The activity consists of a series of scientific mini-workshops linked to the Institute’s Marine Research Services. Through different types of activities, the young participants will be able to feel like scientists for a day and discover the work carried out at INMAR.

They will learn how unmanned underwater vehicles work and their application in ocean exploration. Through underwater acoustics activities and the game “¿Qué es qué?” (What’s What?), they will discover the role of sound in the sea; additionally, they will dive into history with an outdoor archaeology workshop and enjoy fun marine-themed board games. Finally, they will learn about conservation by saving a sea turtle from plastic pollution, and they will unleash their creativity by combining technology and design through the use of virtual reality headsets and marine art.
