Eco-Tools-Coast (ETC): Advanced Skills on Coastal Environments (day 2) 8 July 2025


The International Summer School of the University of Cádiz launch the advanced training program Eco-Tools-Coast (ETC): Advanced Skills on Coastal Environments,designed to equip PhD students with cutting-edge methodologies for studying coastal environments. This course will bring together an international network of faculty and students, fostering collaboration between experts from various universities in Europe and beyond.

Date: 7-11/07/2025

Objectives:

  • Provide advanced training in coastal research techniques, covering both theoretical and applied aspects.
  • Explore emerging topicsin the field, such as:
    • Remote sensingfor coastal monitoring.
    • Drone data acquisition and analysis(both aerial and underwater).
    • Numerical modelingto simulate coastal processes.
  • Offer hands-on experiencewith new methodologies, ensuring that participants acquire specialized skills applicable to their research.
  • Facilitate networking opportunitieswith international experts and fellow researchers, encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange
