Controlled environment chamber for bioassays

INMAR has controlled environmental chambers (light, temperature, humidity) for carrying out bioassays, available to its researchers, but also to external users. These controlled environment units have different dimensions that allow them to accommodate small volume flasks, to aquariums for experimentation with aquatic organisms, allowing control of the temperature and photoperiod of the toxicity tests that are carried out, seawater/freshwater supply and aquarium aeration. The following types of bioassays can be performed:

  • Biological assays
  • Ecotoxicity tests with seawater or fresh water
  • Acclimatization of aquatic organisms

Service location: INMAR warehouse (INMAR/IVAGRO Research Institute Building, ground floor. Puerto Real University Campus, University of Cádiz).
