Pedro José Zarandona Palacio

 

Training and experience: Double degree in Marine Sciences and Environmental Sciences, and master’s degree in Conservation and Management of Natural Environment from the University of Cadiz. He has participated in different national and international projects within the research groups “RNM-328 Coastal and Marine Geology and Geophysics” and “RNM-373 Geoscience” both from the University of Cadiz, including several oceanographic campaigns and various publications in international journals. As specialist in unmanned vehicles, he has extensive training (started in 2013) thanks to his qualifications as UAS advaced pilot, with practical certifications qualifying at an international level for the piloting of multiple models of unmanned aircraft, both fixed and rotary wing up to 25 kg, as well as his qualification as Radio Operator for Remote Piloting to operate unmanned aircraft in controlled airspace. He has a extensive experience in obtaining and processing data from LiDAR, multi and hyperspectral, termal and RGB sensors. Moreover, he has complementary qualifications such as Recreational Boat Skipper or PADI Open Water Diver.

 Current position: Technician of Aerial Drone Service.
