El pasado 10 de octubre del 2024 tuvo lugar en la Universidad de Almería el II Congreso Internacional Tierra y mar: cuencas fluviales y su interacción costera desde la Prehistoria a la Edad Media.

El investigador INMAR-UCA, Juan Jesús Cantillo Duarte, del área temática Océano y Sociedad como ponente invitado dio una ponencia se titulada “El papel del mar en las sociedades prehistóricas del extremo sur peninsular”.

 

 

Durante esta presentación se hizo un balance de los resultados obtenidos en diferentes proyectos de investigación realizados en los últimos 10 años vinculados a la explotación de los recursos marinos en la prehistoria de la región del estrecho de Gibraltar.
